How to Fall . . .
....Without Hurting Yourself ....Much!
1. Try to relax and not fight the fall — unless it is clear that falling would lead to serious injury (e.g. if there are unfriendly hazards like rocks or heavy machinery), in which case, try to send your body the other way.
2. Try not to land hands down as you could injure your wrist, elbows, or shoulders.
- Attempt to fall on your side rather than your front or back. Half turn or roll if necessary to land on the fleshier parts of your body.
- Don’t allow your body to open out. Tuck up instead — chin firmly against chest, arms bent at the elbows to protect your head and face.
- If you’re on a bicycle, let go of it, try to swing your leg from under the bike and push the bike away from you.

How To Blow...
...the Biggest Bubblegum Bubble
Put a piece of bubblegum in your mouth and chew it well. The larger the piece of bubblegum, the larger the bubble you can blow. Make sure it is soft and stretchy.
With your tongue, flatten the bubblegum across the backs of your top and bottom front teeth.Using your tongue again, push the centre of the gum out between your teeth. Seal your lips all around the bulge in the gum. Finally, blow into the bulge of the bubblegum, and see how big you can get your bubble before it pops and sticks all over your face and hair!

STAND FIRM and....
When we look at the Bible, there are many example of persons who Stand firm and finish strong. Some of them are Job, Jacob, Joseph, Apostle Paul, Jesus, and the list goes on.
Life is a race (look at my previous article “Run the Race” in this blog). We are His chosen people, we destined to win! With Jesus, we are more than conqueror! God wants us to win; He wants us to finish strong! What we have to do to win? .... We must persevere if we are to win. We need perseverance.
Let’s look at what dictionaries said.
What is PERSEVERANCE? ...1. It’s persistence, determination, firmness of purpose, patience, endurance, tirelessness, staying power, diligence, dedication, commitment, steadfastness, stamina. (The NEW OXFORD Thesaurus of ENGLISH)
2. It is steadfastness in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. (The NEW OXFORD Dictionary OF ENGLISH) PERSEVERE it self is:Persist, continue, carry on, go on, keep on, keep going, not give up, struggle on, hammer away, be persistent, be determined, see/follow something through, keep at it, show determination, press on/ahead, stay with something, not take no for an answer, be tenacious, be pertinacious, be patient, stand one's ground, stand fast/firm, hold on, hold out, go the distance, stay the course, plod on, plough on, grind away, stop at nothing, leave no stone unturned..... (The NEW OXFORD Thesaurus of ENGLISH)
--> Perseverance is doing what it takes to finish strong! God wants us to finish strong! In order to finish strong, we need to be a high-quality person, so —in our life journey— when God brings us to walk thru the valleys, to climb to the mountains tops, we still stand firm. When God brings us thru the fire, or thru the flood, we still can praise Him with our joyful and thankful heart (while we still hold on steadfastly to His Words and promises) Jesus is the perfect example of the high-quality person, what is the ‘secret’ of Jesus’ quality?
--> His close relationship with His Heavenly Father.
Let’s follow that perfect example, by having a close relationship with our Heavenly Father.
Anyway, let's imagine, suppose our life is pair of shoes that God use daily. What kinda shoes you would like to be for God?
You want to be pretty cool, eye-catching shoes, cheap (because it’s just a fake, famous-designer’-shoes-wanna-be) ....but poor in quality. (in Indonesian language : ‘murah meriah, tapi kelihatan keren banget dan persis sepatu dari desainer ngetop’).
--> When God uses this kinda shoes, His feet will feel very uncomfortable (plus bonus: painful and annoying blister!) and when He uses it in the rain, soon it will perforate like hippopotamus’ yawn. (in Indonesian language: kayak kuda nil yang angop!!)
Or... you want to be a high quality shoes, with simple design (but still looks good)...and very comfortable to be used daily in all kinda fields? What kinda shoes that God would like to choose for His wonderful and glorious journey? Let’s become a high quality person, by having a close and deep relationship with God, so that we can stand firm under any pressure, any temptation, any oppression/injustice...and FINISH STRONG!I desire that in the end, just like Apostle Paul, we all can said:
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. (2 Timothy 4:7) With God, we can do it. Impossible is nothing. “Not by Might, not by power, but by My Spirit,” said the Lord. STAND FIRM, especially in these difficult moments when every nations in this world shaking. Make sure that we’ve become citizen of the Unshakable Kingdom of our Almighty God.
ARISE [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you--rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness [all] peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you, and His glory shall be seen on you. (Isaiah 60:1-2 AMP)
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you.. (Isaiah 43:2 )
But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired. (Isaiah 40:31, AMP )Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice. (Isaiah 41:10 , AMP)

Thousands thanks to Ev. Nani Susanti Tjipto and Ps. Petrus Hadi. So far, you’ve become such a great blessing for me, and the perseverance that I see in your life has inspired me much.

...Booo!!...
How to Survive in a Horror Movie
- When it appears that you have killed a monster, never approach it to check if it’s really dead — it will pounce on you.
- When running away from a monster, expect to fall over at least twice
- Never accept invitations from strangers who live in isolated areas and have no contact with society.
-If you car breaks down at night, don’t go to a deserted-looking mansion to phone for help
- Do not search the basement — especially if the lights have just gone out and the phone is dead.
- If your date has fangs, go home.
- If your date has rotting green flesh and behaves more like a zombie than most dates, go home.
- Never, ever say “I’ll be right back.” You won’t be.

How to Whistle Really Loudly
A “wolf” whistle is a good way to get someone’s attention — or to really annoy them. How we can do it?... Let's try these:
1. Wash your hands. Place the tips of your thumb and index finger together to form an O shape.
2. Put these fingers into your mouth as far as the first joint. Point the nails of these fingers towards the middle of your tongue.
3. Close and tighten your lips around your fingers, so that air can only escape through the gap between them.
4. Press your tongue against the back of your bottom teeth.
5. Breath out steadily, using your tongue to direct the air through the gap between your fingers.
Pull down with your fingers pressing on your bottom lip.
6. Keep practicing, moving your fingers, lips and tongue just a tiny bit at a time until you hear a whistle.

HOW TO ...
...LOCATE A THUNDERSTORM
Water droplets colliding inside storm clouds cause electrons to move so quickly that a large electrical spark is created. This is lightning. The air along its path is heated so intensely and expands so much that it creates a very loud noise— thunder. But although lightning and thunder occur together occur together, we see the lightning some time before we hear the thunder because the speed of light is about a million times that of a sound.
It is possible to estimate how far away a thunderstorm is by counting the number of seconds between the lightning flash and the thunderclap. Divide what you get by three and that will give you the approximate distance in kilometers.

NO VISION
“Where there is no vision, the people perish”

'Scientist wanna be'...
Poor Researcher
If you don’t know the purpose why you exist in this life, ask the Manufacturer. Don’t ask another product, they will only give you the worst answer because they are also trying to figure out why they are here. The world doesn’t understand much about the reason for the existence of things; it functions like one big experimental lab. All of us seem to have been assuming the position of scientists.
We have imagined that we have the time and intelligence to discover the reason for our existence thru experimentation. Then we find out that life is short and that we’re very poor researchers.
Comparing with the eternity, this short life is just a tiny dot, but this tiny dot determines where we will spend our eternity. So let’s not mess up our life...or we will regret later when everything is too late.

Experiment
“There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death”
Proverb 14:12
Whenever you don’t know the purpose of something, you’re experimenting. Many people today —especially young people— are experimenting with life. They don’t know what education is for, so they treat school like experiment. They skip classes and spend their time partying, then they flunk out. They experiment with sex and sexual identity, and they end up with all kinds of problems. They experiment with drugs and hurt their bodies.
So let's know our original purpose of why we exist in this life :) Let's learn it from our Creator...

Gone Forevah
What value do you place in your life? Do you know that one of the most dangerous things in life is wasting time? It is said that time is a commodity that you never able to recapture. Once you’ve lost time, it’s gone forever. So the best thing to do with the time is to use it in a way that will bring the greatest results.
The best way —the only way — to use time effectively is to do what you are supposed to do when you are supposed to do it. Effectiveness does not just mean just doing good things but rather doing the right thing.

ONE LIFE
“Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” (Proverb 19:21)
This crucial truth tells us that we can make all the plans we want in life, but if we don’t make our plans according to the purposes for which God created us, then our plans will be in vain. We won’t live up to our full potential, and we will be unfulfilled. We may even pursue goals and engage in practices that are harmful to us. We only have one life, and we have to make that life count if we are ever to fulfill our purpose.

Woman
THE COMPANION
“The LORD God said, ‘It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him’”
(Genesis 2:18)
Here are several reasons why God created women:
2. So that a man can have a woman as his enhancer who shares his vision and works with him to accomplish what they were both created to do.
The woman takes who the man is and what the man has and enlarges and extends it. In this way, his leadership (a man is a spiritual leader for his family) is effective and their shared vision becomes reality.
3. So that a man would have someone to give to, someone to share his vision with, someone to be a part of his life. Isn’t it sad that many men don’t see women in this way?
4. So that a man would have a woman as his life companion.
“To companion” means to accompany, to attend, and even to guide someone. It is in this sense that a woman is a man’s companion.
5. So that a man would have an heir with him of the gracious gift of life (1 Peter 3:7)
6. To assist the man in fulfilling God’s plan for his life. A woman is a helper for a man. A helper doesn’t take over, rather, she assists.
And the list goes on. You know some other reasons?...I would like to hear them from you in your comment :) God bless,
Dee

Run the Race
Run the Race
Let us run with patience the race that is set before us
(Ibrani 12:1)
* Let's have a good endurance! Both spiritually and physically. So anytime God asks us to go anywhere, to do anything, we’re ready. If God asks us to go to a remote area in India, Mindanao, Bhutan, or any rural areas which will need much endurance to reach it, we’re ready. If God asks us to join a conference in Hillsong Church, we’re more than ready... (hahaha...of course!)
It’s true that we must not rely on our own strength. (“Not by Might, not by power, but by My Spirit,” said the Lord), but in my opinion, we also need to prepare ourselves daily, for anything God will ask us to do.
* Get in shape! Have a good physical and spiritual condition. If we have a good physical condition but we’re dying spiritually....it’s pathetic. But if we have a good spiritual condition, but physically weak, we can not go out to spread the love of God to this dying world.
Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, so let’s maintain it well. We better not ruin or damage it. It's been bought by Jesus's blood, and it's very...very inpensive beyond measure :)
Let's have a healthy life style. At least, get exercise at least for 20 minutes, 3 days a week.
We can work out and have fun at the same time...
For example:
-Walking your dog around your areas --> burns 150 calories/30 minutes
- Cycling outdoor --> burns 300 calories/ 30 minutes.
- Swimming in the sea, lake, etc --> burns 200-300 calories/30 minutes
- Ballroom/Latin dancing (oh my goodness, I love this one!) --> burns 200 calories/ 30 minutess
- Jogging --> burns 300 calories/30 minutes
If you "don't have time" to do that, at least get active, choose using stairs instead of elevator (especially when you'll go to the 80th floor...hahaha)
What do you think, dear readers?Peace!
Dee

Psalm 121
When you're afraid, in doubts, or simply need some extra courage, try to read these verses aloud...and tell me what you feel later, okay? :)
I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come?
My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.
He will not allow my foot to slip; He who keeps me will not slumber.
Behold, He who keeps Israel Will neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD is my keeper; The LORD is my shade on my right hand.
The sun will not smite me by day, Nor the moon by night.
The LORD will protect me from all evil; He will keep me soul.
The LORD will guard me going out and your coming in; From this time forth and forever.

No Miracles
We live in a skin-deep world. Our culture glorifies clothing, fashion, makeup, tummy tucks, and nose jobs. There is nothing wrong with any of those, but in the end they are only cosmetic. Character and substance are shaped in crucible of adversity. Show me someone who lives a carefree life with no problems or trials or dark nights of the soul, and I’ll show you a shallow person.
-Ps. David Jeremiah, A Bend in the Road (Nashville: W, 2000), 21.
Are you in the edge of bankruptcy caused the global financial crisis?
Are you suffering a sickness?
You lost someone you love?
Hurting by a devastating relationship?
...whatever you can name it, I think it will better if we consider this message:
There are no miracles without messes. When God is going to do something wonderful, He begins with difficulty. If He is going to do something very wonderful, He begins with a mess.
-Dewey Cass
There are no miracles without previous messes. The need for a miracle is necessitated by the presence of an impossible situation, usually unbearable suffering.
Maybe you have been there. You were doing everything right. You were living as good and godly as you knew how. Yet suddenly, a heavy, sinister cloud darkened the sky. It blocked all hope from view. The situation seemed impossible. You found yourself helplessly adrift in a huge mess. The only way out was miracle.
When we experience the imminent threat of great pain and total loss, we always face a choice. We can run to God and trust Him OR turn from Him and run away.
“The battle is not yours but God’s . . . . You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you . . .and the LORD will be with you.”
2 CHRONICLES 20:15, 17
“God, I can’t. You can. Please do.”

Sexy Waist
Sexy Waist
Waist circumference is now believed to be a much more accurate measure of future health risk than BMI alone. Carrying too much fat around your middle is associated with an increased risk of developing heart disease and diabetes. It's also associated with a greater risk of high cholesterol levels which, in turn, increase the risk of heart attacks and strokes.A waist circumference greater than 80cm (32in) for women and 94cm (37in) for men increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases, for example, heart attacks and stroke, and diabetes.
The greatest risk is for women with a waist measurement of more than 88cm (35in) and men with a waist measurement of more than 102cm (40in).

Celebrate the Beauty
When u hear that “beauty” word, what comes into your mind?... “Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder,” I think that’s right, but the real beauty is coming from. inside out.We know that we (guys and gals) were created in God’s own image, and I’m sure that God is not ugly at all. So, I think, we’re all having our own beauty, so let’s celebrate that beauty. But the matter is: in some people (and for some reasons), they just can not radiate their beauty. (They better find out the reasons).1. Unhealthy —and unclean— skin, hair, teeth etc.
2. B.O (body odor).
So far, all the people I knew always give negative comments about B.O, for example: skanky, nasty, disgusted....ew... (There are several moments when I almost passed out just because I was trapped next to someone with a stinky B.O)
The bible said that our bodies are God’s temples, so if we honor God, we should valuing our own body by taking good care of it, inside and outside.
Some ways we can do to taking care of those “living temples of God” are:
1. Maintain our joyful heart in every situation.
I know that sometimes it might not be easy, but let’s try to look at the Bible; we have abundant reasons to live our daily life with a joyful heart.
A cheerful disposition is good for your health; gloom and doom leave you bone-tired.
Proverb 17:22 (NASV)
S = (enough)Sleep
E = Eating ( Make sure we nourish our body with healthy food and balance nutrition)
X = (enough) eXercise
Let’s Celebrate our beauty and have a great SEX :)
1. When you bathe, use an anti-bacterial soap, clean your armpit thoroughly.
2. Don’t use synthetic clothes and tight model around your arm.
3. If you don’t wanna use deodorant, try applying alcohol, apple-vinegar, or white- vinegar under your arm by cotton after bathing. These can decrease your skin PH so that bacteria can’t live there.

Qadash
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. — Isaiah 60 : 1-2
Let us be a holy generation that has pure sex & relationship (thanks to Ps. John & Helen Burns). because we have a super duper holy God. Yes! We can do that, because God is our source of strength.
He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. —Isaiah 40:29-3 God bless you, guys!
