'Scientist wanna be'...

Cartoons Myspace Comments

Poor Researcher

If you don’t know the purpose why you exist in this life, ask the Manufacturer. Don’t ask another product, they will only give you the worst answer because they are also trying to figure out why they are here.
The world doesn’t understand much about the reason for the existence of things; it functions like one big experimental lab. All of us seem to have been assuming the position of scientists.
We have imagined that we have the time and intelligence to discover the reason for our existence thru experimentation. Then we find out that life is short and that we’re
very poor researchers.
Comparing with the eternity, this short life is just a tiny dot, but this tiny dot determines where we will spend our eternity. So let’s not mess up our life...or we will regret later when everything is too late.

Experiment

Flirty Myspace Comments Experiment

“There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death”

Proverb 14:12

Whenever you don’t know the purpose of something, you’re experimenting. Many people today —especially young people— are experimenting with life. They don’t know what education is for, so they treat school like experiment. They skip classes and spend their time partying, then they flunk out. They experiment with sex and sexual identity, and they end up with all kinds of problems. They experiment with drugs and hurt their bodies.

So let's know our original purpose of why we exist in this life :) Let's learn it from our Creator...

Gone Forevah

Cartoons Myspace Comments

What value do you place in your life? Do you know that one of the most dangerous things in life is wasting time? It is said that time is a commodity that you never able to recapture. Once you’ve lost time, it’s gone forever. So the best thing to do with the time is to use it in a way that will bring the greatest results.
The best way —the only way — to use time effectively is to do what you are supposed to do when you are supposed to do it. Effectiveness does not just mean just doing good things but rather doing the right thing.

ONE LIFE

Funny Myspace Comments

“Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” (Proverb 19:21)

This crucial truth tells us that we can make all the plans we want in life, but if we don’t make our plans according to the purposes for which God created us, then our plans will be in vain. We won’t live up to our full potential, and we will be unfulfilled. We may even pursue goals and engage in practices that are harmful to us. We only have one life, and we have to make that life count if we are ever to fulfill our purpose.

Woman

Cartoons Myspace Comments

THE COMPANION

The LORD God said, ‘It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him’” (Genesis 2:18)
Here are several reasons why God created women:

1. So that a man wouldn’t have to be alone. Men were not meant to live in isolation or fulfill their calling on their own.
2. So that a man can have a woman as his enhancer who shares his vision and works with him to accomplish what they were both created to do.
The woman takes who the man is and what the man has and enlarges and extends it. In this way, his leadership (a man is a spiritual leader for his family) is effective and their shared vision becomes reality.
3. So that a man would have someone to give to, someone to share his vision with, someone to be a part of his life. Isn’t it sad that many men don’t see women in this way?
4. So that a man would have a woman as his life companion.
“To companion” means to accompany, to attend, and even to guide someone. It is in this sense that a woman is a man’s companion.
5. So that a man would have an heir with him of the gracious gift of life (1 Peter 3:7)
6. To assist the man in fulfilling God’s plan for his life. A woman is a helper for a man. A helper doesn’t take over, rather, she assists.
And the list goes on. You know some other reasons?...I would like to hear them from you in your comment :)

God bless,
Dee

Run the Race

Cartoons Myspace Comments

Run the Race
Let us run with patience the race that is set before us
(Ibrani 12:1)

Life is a race! It’s not a 100 meters sprint, but a marathon. So, let’s make sure that we have a great endurance...(You don’t want to pass out after reaching 200 meters, do you?).
* Let's have a good endurance! Both spiritually and physically. So anytime God asks us to go anywhere, to do anything, we’re ready. If God asks us to go to a remote area in India, Mindanao, Bhutan, or any rural areas which will need much endurance to reach it, we’re ready. If God asks us to join a conference in Hillsong Church, we’re more than ready... (hahaha...of course!)
It’s true that we must not rely on our own strength. (“Not by Might, not by power, but by My Spirit,” said the Lord), but in my opinion, we also need to prepare ourselves daily, for anything God will ask us to do.
* Get in shape! Have a good physical and spiritual condition. If we have a good physical condition but we’re dying spiritually....it’s pathetic. But if we have a good spiritual condition, but physically weak, we can not go out to spread the love of God to this dying world.

Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, so let’s maintain it well. We better not ruin or damage it. It's been bought by Jesus's blood, and it's very...very inpensive beyond measure :)
Let's have a healthy life style. At least, get exercise at least for 20 minutes, 3 days a week.

We can work out and have fun at the same time...
For example:
-Walking your dog around your areas --> burns 150 calories/30 minutes
- Cycling outdoor --> burns 300 calories/ 30 minutes.
- Swimming in the sea, lake, etc --> burns 200-300 calories/30 minutes
- Ballroom/Latin dancing (oh my goodness, I love this one!) --> burns 200 calories/ 30 minutess
- Jogging --> burns 300 calories/30 minutes

If you "don't have time" to do that, at least get active, choose using stairs instead of elevator (especially when you'll go to the 80th floor...hahaha)

What do you think, dear readers?
Peace!
Dee

Stay Hot!

zwani.com myspace graphic comments
Stay Hot !
There’s a brilliant, rich, handsome guy named Chris. He loves his girl so much, and Luna — that lucky girl— often tell Chris how she loves him with all her heart. In fact, secretly Luna loves to flirt around and dates many guys, and actually what she wants most from Chris is...his money & gifts! Somehow, Chris knows about his girl’s behavior, but because he really loves her, he remains faithful to her, and willing to do his best for her happiness. Can you imagine how Chris feels anytime Luna says how much she loves him?
Well, we might criticize Luna, but in our relationship with God, how many of us know that we often behave like Luna? (of course not everyone of us, but definitely many of us)
We often sing or say how much we love God, how much we want Him, how much we adore Him ... bla...bla...bla.. but after that, we ‘flirt’ and date many other ‘gods’ (our job, our video game, our study, our family, etc —any other things we choose to love besides God) and we only looking for Him when we're in trouble, when we need money to pay our bills and satisfy our endless needs...
But God is good; He is faithful to us despite all that we do to Him. He still loves us with His unconditional love.
How you feel if you receive a fake love from someone you love so dearly with your true love? It really hurts, doesn’t it? I’m sure we don’t want to hurt God like that. We give Him our lip service, and then we ask Him to do this and that as if He is our servant. His desire is to have a deep and meaningful relationship with us, that’s why He created us in His own image. He wants to share His love to a being who has His likeness.
Let’s consider these verses:
I know you inside and out, and find little to my liking. You're not cold, you're not hot—far better to be either cold or hot! You're stale. You're stagnant. You make me want to vomit.
(Revelation 3:15-16, MSG) So, let’s stay hot for God :) Let’s be like David, “the man after God’s own heart” What was David’s desire?...
I'm asking God for one thing, only one thing: To live with him in his house my whole life long. I'll contemplate his beauty; I'll study at his feet. (Psalm 27:4,MSG)
Let’s focus our eyes on the Giver Himself, not on His gifts only.... Love Him with all our heart & mind, and hold on to His promises, and you will see that His goodness and blessings are chasing you, all the days of your life. You will see His goodness flooding you beyond measure. One of His names is El-Shadai, means “God of more than enough.” Let’s experience Him as El-Shadai. All we need to do is just focus our eyes on the Giver Himself, and keep on fire!
Stay hot, guys!
In His love, Dee

Psalm 121

Christian Myspace Layouts

When you're afraid, in doubts, or simply need some extra courage, try to read these verses aloud...and tell me what you feel later, okay? :)

I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come?

My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.

He will not allow my foot to slip; He who keeps me will not slumber.

Behold, He who keeps Israel Will neither slumber nor sleep.

The LORD is my keeper; The LORD is my shade on my right hand.

The sun will not smite me by day, Nor the moon by night.

The LORD will protect me from all evil; He will keep me soul.

The LORD will guard me going out and your coming in; From this time forth and forever.

No Miracles

We live in a skin-deep world. Our culture glorifies clothing, fashion, makeup, tummy tucks, and nose jobs. There is nothing wrong with any of those, but in the end they are only cosmetic. Character and substance are shaped in crucible of adversity. Show me someone who lives a carefree life with no problems or trials or dark nights of the soul, and I’ll show you a shallow person.
-Ps. David Jeremiah, A Bend in the Road (Nashville: W, 2000), 21.

Are you in the edge of bankruptcy caused the global financial crisis?
Are you suffering a sickness?
You lost someone you love?
Hurting by a devastating relationship?
...whatever you can name it, I think it will better if we consider this message:

There are no miracles without messes. When God is going to do something wonderful, He begins with difficulty. If He is going to do something very wonderful, He begins with a mess.
-Dewey Cass
There are no miracles without previous messes. The need for a miracle is necessitated by the presence of an impossible situation, usually unbearable suffering.
Maybe you have been there. You were doing everything right. You were living as good and godly as you knew how. Yet suddenly, a heavy, sinister cloud darkened the sky. It blocked all hope from view. The situation seemed impossible. You found yourself helplessly adrift in a huge mess. The only way out was miracle.
When we experience the imminent threat of great pain and total loss, we always face a choice. We can run to God and trust Him OR turn from Him and run away.

“The battle is not yours but God’s . . . . You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you . . .and the LORD will be with you.”
2 CHRONICLES 20:15, 17

“ . . . I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Be strong and of a good courage . . . “ (Joshua 1:5-6)

It is a good thing to give your problems o the Problem Solver. He can handle them.
“God, I can’t. You can. Please do.”

Sexy Waist

Sexy Waist

Waist circumference is now believed to be a much more accurate measure of future health risk than BMI alone. Carrying too much fat around your middle is associated with an increased risk of developing heart disease and diabetes. It's also associated with a greater risk of high cholesterol levels which, in turn, increase the risk of heart attacks and strokes.
A waist circumference greater than 80cm (32in) for women and 94cm (37in) for men increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases, for example, heart attacks and stroke, and diabetes.
The greatest risk is for women with a waist measurement of more than 88cm (35in) and men with a waist measurement of more than 102cm (40in).

Body Odor
Body odor is a smell produced by a person's body that many other people find unpleasant What causes it? Body odor is caused by a natural process involving sweat that occurs on the skin's surface. Sweat is odorless, but if left on the skin the bacteria that normally live there feed on it and break it down. This process releases chemicals that cause the unpleasant smell. Some areas of the skin, such as the armpits and genitals, are more likely to produce body odor because these glands produce proteins and oily substances that bacteria feed on. Sweat elsewhere in the body is mostly salty water, which bacteria don't thrive on so easily. The feet produce their own characteristic odor. We tend to wrap them in socks and shoes, making them hot and humid and allowing fungi, as well as bacteria, to flourish. The symptom is an unpleasant smell that may be worse in hot and sweaty conditions. The actual smell varies from person to person. The 'recipe' of sweat is individual. Body odor may be influenced by diet. Certain foods, such as curry, garlic and strong spices, contain chemicals that may be excreted in the skin. The smell almost always disappears with a shower or bath, but can return rapidly, especially if a person puts on unwashed clothes covered in old sweat and bacteria. Young children rarely have body odor because the specialised glands in the armpits and genital areas don't become active until puberty. At puberty, sweat glands develop under the stimulation of hormones and protein. Oil production by the skin in the armpits and genital areas also increases. Body odor may then become a problem, especially if hygiene is poor. Most people can easily recognize body odor. Unfortunately, the person who has it may be so accustomed to their own smell that they don't notice. Body odor is often easily treated and a medical diagnosis isn't usually necessary. Take regular baths or showers, at least once a day. After puberty, using an antiperspirant can help to reduce sweating, and some also inhibit bacterial growth. This is rarely needed with younger children. Fresh clothes should be worn every day, and clothing should be washed at as high a temperature as possible, then dried as quickly as possible. Bacteria can survive in damp clothing and produce a characteristic smell. Feet should be washed regularly, dried thoroughly and treated with antifungal powder if necessary. Avoid closed, sweaty shoes such as trainers, and wear fresh cotton socks or keep feet bare in open sandals as often as possible. Avoiding very spicy food may also help. For more severe sweating, called hyperhidrosis, injecting botulinum toxin (Botox) into the skin near the armpit, the removal of some sweat glands from the armpit, or destroying nerves that control armpit sweating, may be recommended.

Celebrate the Beauty

When u hear that “beauty” word, what comes into your mind?... “Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder,” I think that’s right, but the real beauty is coming from. inside out.We know that we (guys and gals) were created in God’s own image, and I’m sure that God is not ugly at all. So, I think, we’re all having our own beauty, so let’s celebrate that beauty. But the matter is: in some people (and for some reasons), they just can not radiate their beauty. (They better find out the reasons).
Some problems that we often find out are:
1. Unhealthy —and unclean— skin, hair, teeth etc.
2. B.O (body odor).
So far, all the people I knew always give negative comments about B.O, for example: skanky, nasty, disgusted....ew... (There are several moments when I almost passed out just because I was trapped next to someone with a stinky B.O)
The bible said that our bodies are God’s temples, so if we honor God, we should valuing our own body by taking good care of it, inside and outside.
Some ways we can do to taking care of those “living temples of God” are:
1. Maintain our joyful heart in every situation.
I know that sometimes it might not be easy, but let’s try to look at the Bible; we have abundant reasons to live our daily life with a joyful heart.

A cheerful disposition is good for your health; gloom and doom leave you bone-tired.
Proverb 17:22 (NASV)

2. Make sure that we have a great SEX
S
= (enough)Sleep
E = Eating ( Make sure we nourish our body with healthy food and balance nutrition)
X = (enough) eXercise
Let’s Celebrate our beauty and have a great SEX :)
_______________

Some simple tips to fight B.O:
1. When you bathe, use an anti-bacterial soap, clean your armpit thoroughly.
2. Don’t use synthetic clothes and tight model around your arm.
3. If you don’t wanna use deodorant, try applying alcohol, apple-vinegar, or white- vinegar
under your arm by cotton after bathing. These can decrease your skin PH so that bacteria can’t live there.
If those 3 tips can’t fight your B.O, and it really disturbing the people around you, please consult your physician.

Animated Pictures Myspace Comments Why Bad Things Happen to Good People (Part 2)

Instead of asking ‘why so many bad things happen to good people?’ We better ask ourselves why so many good things happen to bad people.
Instead of being bitter over the hardship we face, we must be thankful for all the blessing we enjoy. God produces many good things from the bad.
If we look at the Old Testament of the Bible, we’ll find Job, the poster boy of pain. His massive misery makes even my most severe seasons of suffering seem almost tame and tiny. Why bad things happen to good people? What good can come from the bad? Here are several reasons:
1. To win an unseen victory Maybe we don’t realize it now, but we may be players in an unseen battle. Our response to suffering may give God greater glory and get Satan to shut up.
2. To expand our perspective of God More significant than receiving an explanation for our pain is embracing a bigger view of God through our pain. Allow your questions, doubts, and pain to press you closer to God than ever before.
3. To prepare us to receive far greater blessings Most of us have dreamed of having amazing wealth and incredible influence, but we need to be reminded that vast amounts of money and power ruined the unprepared. Most of us are much better able to handle success after we have tasted failure. The hard lessons learned through the tough times prepare us to deal with better days.
4. To stretch us for greater growth No pain, no gain No wilderness, no Promise Land No brokenness, no wholeness
5. To remind us that we are not home yet We make a grave mistake when we expect earth to be perfect and think of earth as our home. Life on earth is irritating, infuriating, frustrating, unfair, painful, and confusing. Our final forwarding address is heaven. Consider this descriptive promise about heaven:
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away (Revelation 21:4,NKJV)
6. To refine our faith Sometimes the intense heat of suffering is a refiner’s fire, purifying the gold of godly faith, forging the steel of godly character.

Celebrate Gerrard's 100th goal!
FT October 1, 2008
Liverpool [3 - 1] PSV Eindhoven 5' [1 - 0] D. Kuyt 34' [2 - 0] R. Keane 76' [3 - 0] S. Gerrard ---> what a magnificent, awesome goal! Gerrard's 100th goal!
On an evening where his teammates had been stealing the limelight with significant goals, Steven Gerrard had been surprisingly quiet. The skipper is so often the man for the big occasion and he wasn't about to let it pass him by without notching his 100th for the club. On 76 minutes the Reds were awarded a free-kick in front of the Kop and as the midfielder raced on to Aurelio's touch-off there was only one place the ball was destined to land. It was typical Gerrard - an exquisite drive that gave the keeper absolutely no chance and how fitting the goal came at the Kop end. The scoreboard read 3-0 and perhaps the Reds were on cruise control as they allowed substitute Danny Koevermans to steal in and stab home a consolation just two minutes later. It mattered not, however, as both Keane and Gerrard were granted standing ovations by their manager on a night that will go down as a significant moment in the duo's Liverpool careers.

Why Bad Things Happen to Good People (Part 1)
Why do bad things happen to good people? It’s a question we all ask. Everyday in the newspaper we read the tragic tales of suffering, pain, and evil on the planet Earth. Horribly bad things happen to very good people. Men with large families and women who are single moms lose their jobs. People get cancer. There are devastating floods and fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes. Babies die or are born with crippling diseases. People are robbed, mugged, raped, abused, and murdered. In some parts of the world, Christians are tortured for their faith.
Why do such bad things happen to good people? It is a question that easily can become a great source of bitterness in our lives or in the lives of people we love. Pain, suffering, and evil are relentless realities that will not go away until we are in heaven. Until then, what we are to do and think when bad things happen to good people?
In this article, we will explore the answer of “Why does God allow bad things happen to good people?” It is a biblical study of potential benefits that come into our lives through suffering. It discusses several possible reasons bad things happen to good people. It is designed to be informative, inspiring, and encouraging. I hope reading it will nourish your faith so you can face the inevitable distress, the despair, the doubts, and the darkness that will confront your soul when you are hit with devastating hardship. Before we begin, let me frame our discussion by reminding you of several important truths.
1. God is under no obligation to give us an explanation for suffering. Some say that they don’t want to believe in a god unless they can figure him out. But I have discovered that a god I can completely comprehend is no God at all. We don’t want to hear it, but it’s true. God is under no obligation to answer our questions. In this life, we may never see or fully understand why many things happen. That’s what faith is all about. It is trusting God in the midst of, trusting God in spite of, trusting God not only when we can see, but also when we cannot see.
2. God has given us plenty of explanation if we will only look for it and accept it. The Bible gives many principles and examples to point us toward potentially productive reasons bad things happen to good people.
3. God can do more than one good things through the bad things that happen to us. We may not know the exact reason why bad things are happening to us, but we can know that good does come out—often many areas of good—radiating from one bad event. It is like when we drop a heavy rock into a still pond and seeing the many round ripples radiate out from the center
4. God knows what it is to suffer, and He knows how to help us in our suffering. Sometimes when we are hurting, we feel all alone, and we feel that God has no idea of what we are experiencing. This is a lie. 2000 years ago, God stepped out of paradise so that He could experience our pain. He not only saw our suffering, but He tasted it, He wore it, He lived it, and He died as a result of it.
The ultimate and only pure picture of a bad thing happening to a good person is the cross. Jesus Christ was the only sinless person who ever lived. He is the Son of God and God the Son. Yet He experienced the ultimate in bad. Pain, suffering, sorrow, and evil resulting from sin filled the cup that Jesus drank in full measure.
Imagine the excruciating agony of the heavenly Father, after an eternity in union with His Son, being forced to turn away at His Son’s greatest point of need. Imagine having the power to remove all the pain from His Son but knowing that to do so would leave the world cursed by sin. Does God know anything about pain? You have got to be kidding. On a much higher, deeper, broader level than we can possibly imagine, God experienced exactly what it is to have bad things happen to a good person. He knows what is to suffer, and he knows how to help us in our suffering.
Are you struggling with emotional, deep anguish? Are you frustrated by injustice? Are you in physical pain? Is your battle against spiritual torment? Are you battling bitterness? Are you staring at a thick wall of doubts and questions? Worn out by your pain?
You need God. Take your pain and turn it into prayer. Talk with God. Tell him that you hurt. Tell Him you need encouragement. He is there. ______________________________ For a much complete on this article, you can read from Dave Earley’s 21 Reasons Bad Things Happen to Good People, published by Barbour Publishing, Inc. Fernando Torres

Fernando José Torres Sanz (born March 20, 1984) is a Spanish football player. He was born in the Fuenlabrada neighbourhood of Madrid and was the youngest player to play for Atlético Madrid and the youngest to become captain (at age 19). Nicknamed 'El Niño' (The Kid) for his youthful face, Torres is a striker for Spain and Liverpool. Torres scored 55 goals over 5 seasons in the Spanish top flight, with only Samuel Eto'o and David Villa scoring more in the same period. Torres also played two seasons in the second division where he scored 7 goals in 40 games. In 1999, Torres signed his first contract with the club and at the end of the 1999–2000 season he was part of the first team. His next success was at the European Under-16 Championship in England in 2001, where he finished as the Player of the Tournament en route to Spain's victory.
At the time, Newcastle United manager Bobby Robson was apparently informed of Torres' talent by a Newcastle scout.Robson, however, decided against a move for the Spaniard. Torres made his début for Atlético Madrid in the Vicente Calderón Stadium against Leganes and he scored his first goal for the club the following week, in a game against Albacete. 2002 saw Atlético Madrid returning to the first division of Spanish football. In his first season playing in the top division, Torres did not find the transition from second tier football too much of a hindrance as he scored 13 goals. Torres has been the top scorer for Atlético in La Liga for the past four seasons. He is the youngest player to play for Atlético Madrid and the youngest to become captain (at age 19). In 2003–2004 Torres made further strides as he scored 19 league goals in just 35 appearances. He was also named as Atlético's club captain aged just 19. Atlético also improved, but were pipped for a UEFA Cup place on the final day of the season as they finished 7th behind Sevilla due to goal difference in the two team's head-to-head record (2-1, 0-2). In this season Torres made his debut for the full Spanish national team on September 6, 2003 in a friendly against Portugal. His first goal for Spain came against Italy on April 28, 2004. At the end of the season Torres was chosen as part of the Spanish squad for Euro 2004. He only appeared as a late substitute in Spain's first two group games, but made the first eleven for the deciding game against Portugal. Torres hit the post in the 62 minute after Nuno Gomes put Portgual ahead on 57 minutes. Spain lost 1-0 and were eliminated. Atlético's 7th place finish in 2004 did qualify them for the Intertoto Cup, giving Torres his first taste of European club competition. They made the final, but agonisingly lost on penalties, this time to Villarreal. At his first ever appearance in a World Cup finals at the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, Torres scored the final goal in a 4-0 victory over Ukraine with a volley. In the second group match, Torres scored twice against Tunisia, in the 76th minute for Spain to take the lead 2-1 and then again from a penalty kick in the 90th. Torres was dropped from the team for a friendly versus Romania in November 2006, but returned to the national side for the friendly against England in February 2007, a 1-0 win for Spain. After the World Cup Torres admitted that he turned down the chance to join Chelsea after the end of the 2005-06 season. Again in 2007, Torres's future at Madrid was the subject of much speculation after Atlético's inability to secure a UEFA Cup spot. Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United were all linked with a move for the player. Following the end of the 2006-07 season, reports in the English media stated that Torres was the main transfer target of Liverpool. The rumours reached such a fever pitch that Atlético president Enrique Cerezo made a statement saying "We've received no offer from Liverpool or any other club or player". However, a few days later new reports suggested that Atletico had agreed a deal with Liverpool for Torres, the fee rumoured was £20 million plus Luis Garcia. Then on 30 June Atlético announced agreeing a deal with Villareal to sign Diego Forlán (seen as a potential replacement for Torres). On July 2 it was reported that Torres had cut short his holiday to fly back to Madrid to finalize the move. The next day Torres passed a medical for Liverpool and it was annouced that a farewell press conference would be held in Madrid the on 4 July to bid farewell to the Atlético Madrid fans. Later that day, Atlético officially confirmed his transfer to Liverpool on their website. Torres will wear Liverpool's number 9 shirt, which has previously been worn by legendary Liverpool strikers Robbie Fowler and Ian Rush. It was revealed during the Liverpool press conference that the fee stood at £27 million. It has also been widely reported that Torres has taken a pay cut as part of the transfer. A drop from £103,000 a week in Spain, to about £90,000 according to The Times. Torres made his official debut for Liverpool F.C. on July 17, 2007 during a friendly match against Werder Bremen. Torres scored his first goal for Liverpool F.C. on August 3, 2007 during a friendly match against Shanghai Shenhua, which was also his first start. Torres is Liverpool F.C.'s record signing. On August 11, 2007 Torres made his competitive debut for Liverpool F.C. against Aston Villa in a 2-1 win. He scored his first English Premier League goal on his Anfield debut August 19th, in the 16th minute of the match against Chelsea running on to a Steven Gerrard pass he took the ball past Chelsea's defender Tal Ben Haim and slotted it into the Chelsea net, this silenced many critics including Aaron Williams, a biased Manchester United supporter and infamous media figure. The game ended 1-1 after a bad decision by Rob Styles who gave Chelsea a controversial penalty in the 62nd minute.
In November of 2001 Torres played in the Under-17 World Cup in Trinidad and Tobago. In July of 2002, he played in the Under-19 European Championships in Norway, a tournament Spain won. Torres was both top scorer and Player of the Tournament. He made his debut for the Under-21 national team in 2003. On September 6, later that year, Torres made his debut for the senior national team against Portugal. His first goal for Spain came against Italy on April 28, 2004. It was widely expected that a good performance for Spain at the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany would boost Torres' already significant demand among major European clubs. At his first ever appearance in a World Cup finals match, Torres scored with a spectacular volley helping Spain to a win over Ukraine. In the second group match Spain rallied from a 0-1 deficit against Tunisia to win 3-1. Torres scored in the 76th minute for Spain to take the lead 2-1 and then again from a penalty kick in the 90th minute. He was subsequently given a much-needed rest in Spain's third group match against Saudi Arabia, entering the game only to substitute José Antonio Reyes in the 70th minute. Having managed to score three goals in the tournament, Torres was one of the leading goal scorers in the 2006 FIFA World Cup. He was also the first player to score three goals in the tournament. Torres started the round of 16 matches against France, but after initially taking the lead, Spain went on to lose 1-3 and were knocked out of the tournament. The Spanish national team coach, Luis Aragonés, remarked that he "never scores two goals the same", highlighting Fernando's versatility as a player. Moreover he was Spain's best player at the 2006 World Cup finals in Germany. However, Torres was dropped from the team for a friendly versus Romania in November 2006, after having only scored 2 goals in 8 matches due to a slight drop in form. He was the youngest player ever to score for Spain.

Arsenal's Victory

Oh...how I love this result, guys! :) Arsenal [4 - 0] FC Porto 31' [1 - 0] R.v. Persie 40' [2 - 0] E.S. Adebayor 48' [3 - 0] R.v. Persie 71' [4 - 0] E.S. Adebayor (pen.) Robin van Persie slid them in front on the half-hour and, four minutes from the break, Emmanuel Adebayor scored with a towering header. Three minutes after the restart, Van Persie killed the game by burying a cross-shot and, 20 minutes from the end, Adebayor slotted home a penalty after substitute Nicklas Bendtner had been hacked down on the edge of the area.Arsenal will play better than this and win by a tighter margin however it was just the answer they needed after a weekend of questions. It also puts them top of Group G. That's the real Arsenal! But...win or lose, I still love Arsenal....and Liverpool (Torres factor).. :p
