How to Fall . . .

Funny Myspace Comments

....Without Hurting Yourself ....Much!

1. Try to relax and not fight the fall — unless it is clear that falling would lead to serious injury (e.g. if there are unfriendly hazards like rocks or heavy machinery), in which case, try to send your body the other way.

2. Try not to land hands down as you could injure your wrist, elbows, or shoulders.

  1. Attempt to fall on your side rather than your front or back. Half turn or roll if necessary to land on the fleshier parts of your body.

  1. Don’t allow your body to open out. Tuck up instead — chin firmly against chest, arms bent at the elbows to protect your head and face.

  1. If you’re on a bicycle, let go of it, try to swing your leg from under the bike and push the bike away from you.

How To Blow...

Funny Myspace Comments ...the Biggest Bubblegum Bubble

Put a piece of bubblegum in your mouth and chew it well. The larger the piece of bubblegum, the larger the bubble you can blow. Make sure it is soft and stretchy.

With your tongue, flatten the bubblegum across the backs of your top and bottom front teeth.
Using your tongue again, push the centre of the gum out between your teeth. Seal your lips all around the bulge in the gum. Finally, blow into the bulge of the bubblegum, and see how big you can get your bubble before it pops and sticks all over your face and hair!

STAND FIRM and....

Guys Myspace Comments FINISH STRONG!

When we look at the Bible, there are many example of persons who Stand firm and finish strong. Some of them are Job, Jacob, Joseph, Apostle Paul, Jesus, and the list goes on.

Life is a race (look at my previous article “Run the Race” in this blog). We are His chosen people, we destined to win! With Jesus, we are more than conqueror! God wants us to win; He wants us to finish strong!

What we have to do to win? .... We must persevere if we are to win. We need perseverance.

Let’s look at what dictionaries said.

What is PERSEVERANCE? ...

1. It’s persistence, determination, firmness of purpose, patience, endurance, tirelessness, staying power, diligence, dedication, commitment, steadfastness, stamina. (The NEW OXFORD Thesaurus of ENGLISH)

2. It is steadfastness in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. (The NEW OXFORD Dictionary OF ENGLISH) PERSEVERE it self is:

Persist,  continue,  carry on,  go on,  keep on,  keep going,  not give up,  struggle on,  hammer away,  be persistent,  be determined,  see/follow something through,  keep at it,  show determination,  press on/ahead, stay with something,  not take no for an answer,  be tenacious, be pertinacious,  be patient,  stand one's ground,  stand fast/firm,  hold on,  hold out,  go the distance,  stay the course,  plod on,  plough on,  grind away,  stop at nothing,  leave no stone unturned..... (The NEW OXFORD Thesaurus of ENGLISH)

--> Perseverance is doing what it takes to finish strong!  God wants us to finish strong! In order to finish strong, we need to be a high-quality person, so —in our life journey— when God brings us to walk thru the valleys, to climb to the mountains tops, we still stand firm. When God brings us thru the fire, or thru the flood, we still can praise Him with our joyful and thankful heart (while we still hold on steadfastly to His Words and promises) Jesus is the perfect example of the high-quality person, what is the ‘secret’ of Jesus’ quality?

--> His close relationship with His Heavenly Father.

Let’s follow that perfect example, by having a close relationship with our Heavenly Father.

Anyway, let's imagine, suppose our life is pair of shoes that God use daily. What kinda shoes you would like to be for God?

You want to be pretty cool, eye-catching shoes, cheap (because it’s just a fake, famous-designer’-shoes-wanna-be) ....but poor in quality. (in Indonesian language : ‘murah meriah, tapi kelihatan keren banget dan persis sepatu dari desainer ngetop’).

--> When God uses this kinda shoes, His feet will feel very uncomfortable (plus bonus: painful and annoying blister!) and when He uses it in the rain, soon it will perforate like hippopotamus’ yawn. (in Indonesian language: kayak kuda nil yang angop!!)

Or... you want to be a high quality shoes, with simple design (but still looks good)...and very comfortable to be used daily in all kinda fields? What kinda shoes that God would like to choose for His wonderful and glorious journey? Let’s become a high quality person, by having a close and deep relationship with God, so that we can stand firm under any pressure, any temptation, any oppression/injustice...and FINISH STRONG!
I desire that in the end, just like Apostle Paul, we all can said:

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. (2 Timothy 4:7)

With God, we can do it. Impossible is nothing. “Not by Might, not by power, but by My Spirit,” said the Lord. STAND FIRM, especially in these difficult moments when every nations in this world shaking. Make sure that we’ve become citizen of the Unshakable Kingdom of our Almighty God.

ARISE [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you--rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness [all] peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you, and His glory shall be seen on you.  (Isaiah 60:1-2 AMP)

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you..  (Isaiah 43:2 )

But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.   (Isaiah 40:31, AMP )

Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice.    (Isaiah 41:10 , AMP)

Thousands thanks to Ev. Nani Susanti Tjipto and Ps. Petrus Hadi. So far, you’ve become such a great blessing for me, and the perseverance that I see in your life has inspired me much.

Most of all, my deepest thanks to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, I can't imagine me without You. ILU!

How to Survive in a Horror Movie

- When it appears that you have killed a monster, never approach it to check if it’s really dead — it will pounce on you.

- When running away from a monster, expect to fall over at least twice

- Never accept invitations from strangers who live in isolated areas and have no contact with society.

-If you car breaks down at night, don’t go to a deserted-looking mansion to phone for help

- Do not search the basement — especially if the lights have just gone out and the phone is dead.

- If your date has fangs, go home.

- If your date has rotting green flesh and behaves more like a zombie than most dates, go home.

- Never, ever say “I’ll be right back.” You won’t be.

How to Whistle Really Loudly

A “wolf” whistle is a good way to get someone’s attention — or to really annoy them. How we can do it?... Let's try these:

1. Wash your hands. Place the tips of your thumb and index finger together to form an O shape.

2. Put these fingers into your mouth as far as the first joint. Point the nails of these fingers towards the middle of your tongue.

3. Close and tighten your lips around your fingers, so that air can only escape through the gap between them.

4. Press your tongue against the back of your bottom teeth.

5. Breath out steadily, using your tongue to direct the air through the gap between your fingers.

Pull down with your fingers pressing on your bottom lip.

6. Keep practicing, moving your fingers, lips and tongue just a tiny bit at a time until you hear a whistle.

HOW TO ...

...LOCATE A THUNDERSTORM

Water droplets colliding inside storm clouds cause electrons to move so quickly that a large electrical spark is created. This is lightning. The air along its path is heated so intensely and expands so much that it creates a very loud noise— thunder. But although lightning and thunder occur together occur together, we see the lightning some time before we hear the thunder because the speed of light is about a million times that of a sound.

It is possible to estimate how far away a thunderstorm is by counting the number of seconds between the lightning flash and the thunderclap. Divide what you get by three and that will give you the approximate distance in kilometers.

NO VISION

zwani.com myspace graphic comments

“Where there is no vision, the people perish”

Proverb 29:18, KJV

A man needs a clear vision of three things:
1. Who is he in God
2. What his overall purpose as a male is
3. What his purposes as an individual man is.
In this way, he can know where he is going in life and can lead those under his care and responsibility.
Before God gave man a helper, He gave him a vision for what he should be doing. A woman shares in this vision, encourages the man along the way, and helps him to accomplish it.
That is also the order we need to follow today. If a man has no vision, or only his wife who has a vision, the man and his whole family will have a difficult time. Because God has designed the male to carry others with him in his vision.
Our society is in trouble because most men don’t know where they are going, while the women and children who are following have no direction. Many men don’t have a vision for their lives because they are not committed to God and to seeking His will in this area. If a man does not have a relationship with God, he cannot fully function in his purpose. It’s dangerous for a woman to marry a man who doesn’t know God, because she won’t know where he’s taking her.
Even if he does know God, he needs to learn to live in God’s presence, because some men who know him don’t talk to Him enough.
No man has the right to lead a woman if he doesn’t have the ability to truly hear God. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me John 10:27 A man can not ask a woman to follow him and help him if he isn’t really doing anything. The woman is looking for somebody who is doing something to which she can contribute. All the potential, all the energy, all the excitement, and all the creativity within her has to be applied to something. Anyway, what vision did God give to Adam? He said, “Here is the garden [Eden]: subdue it, work it, and cultivate it. Make it better than it is. Develop it and produce more of it.”
In other words:
“Take this planet and make it richer than it is. There is seed in this ground that hasn’t yet born fruit. Make it a harvest. There gold in the mountains. Dig it out. There are diamonds in the rough. Mine them.”
